That's sad news. I liked watching Jeff. His videos were one of the main ones I'd watch if I was looking for a certain gun.

I beyond loved to see Jeff on the gunblast YouTube shot show updates yearly. He definalty did not look well the last few years. I have always made my kids watch his videos, he was a wealth of information, and showed his passion on his sleeve. He will be missed, and i pray for his family to have comfort and peace.

I've loved his reviews and videos for years. And I always looked forward to his Shot Show coverage every year.

I always loved his Jeff-isms! He would say things like "it might only be a .22, but if you perforate someone a few times they will leave you alone".

Sad to hear this. Jeff has been one of those guys whose videos I always seem to run into when I’m googling this or that gun-related thing. Always seemed like a very warm, sincere, down to earth kind of guy. His reviews were always simple, and also very useful — especially his written reviews. He could get down to the brass tacks of a gun and talk about the things that handloaders care about when considering a purchase, while also appreciating the simple character of a gun. His detailed comparison on the Ruger New vs Old Vaquero is an article I’ve referenced dozens of times. He also got me hooked on Simply Rugged holsters.

He is the kind of guy who embodied what I like to imagine as the best of American gun culture. He will indeed be missed.

I think people like the Quinns because they were not pretentious or ashamed of what and who they are and they live their lives by the Golden Rule.
