RIP Major Dick Winters

    Not sure if this is the right place to put this so if not, I apologize. I just read that Major Dick Winters, Commander Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne passed away this week. We are losing the heroes of Normandy at a very fast rate now.

    Nothing concerning this man would be anything but High Road I think. It's not on topic for a firearm discussion forum though.

    I suspect the series about Major Winters and his comrades had a major impact on many folks and their appreciation of that generation of Americans.

    Sad news.
