Sandy Hayes was the commerical sales contact at Colt for distributors over the past few years and there wasnt a nicer person to deal with in the industry...

In late November, I ordered up our last allotment of Colts for the year and as usual joked with her. About two weeks later, I was talking to the Law Enforcment department at Colt and after finishing with them asked to speak to her as I had a question about ordering some new products....I was told she was out sick..

Mondauy, I was again talking to the Law Enfocement guys and after finishing asked for Sandy..in a grief stricken voice he told me she had passed away in December..

I only knew Sandy from dealing with her on the phone over the past few years. Nevertheless she knew her guns inside and out, was helpful, courteous and made sure we got the pistols we needed to supply our customers and other dealers. Too often, we grieve when the great men and the captains of industry die...and too often we forget that it is the little people, like Sandy, that make a company what it is..

Sandy, like I always told you on the phone..."catch you later". We will mss you..

It might help us in our period of mourning if we had a picture and a clue as to who we were grieving for!!!!!!!!

Classy, Denfoote. Thanks for taking the high road. Was that really necessary?
