Well at least he served in the military unlike most Republicans. And people wonder why the Democrats are anti war, since most of them served in the military, and many of them in combat. Republicans always get off because of their daddy and money situation.


Robert Mitchum was a alcoholic and heavy drug user, not the kind of person you would want in the military.

BTW, I served as well. I didn’t have anyone issuing orders that I was to be protected at all costs. I didn’t get to come home after three months. And, for the record, I’ve been a registered Republican all of my life.

I'm sure that John McCain wasn't actually fighting when he got shot down. He just checked into the "Hanoi Hilton" to further the political endeavors that he was planning. :rolleyes:

(Not that I would vote for the flip-flop SOB but I certainly respect his military service.)
