I picked up an RRA CAR UTE on May 14th...got about 1200 rounds through her to date (various mfg's) without a hitch. I installed an Aimpoint ML2 and an ACE ARFX stock...I'm VERY happy with this gun!

    Congrats!

Nice looking rifle. Just curious, can you use your irons with the Aimpoint mounted?

Yes, the iron sights are visible in the Aimpoint.

I'm assuming those are mid-length handguards?

Every time I see a carbine that "looks right" but the barrel is bare (no perm.attached flashsupressor) it always turns out to be mid-length.

More manufacturers should offer them... they look great!

Opinion of the ACE stock? Well, I guess I had $88 burning a hole in my pocket. It looks cool, it's a bit shorter than an A2 stock (without the butt pad, and can be had with either a 1/2" or 1" butt pad) and is lighter. It is a well made piece, and time will tell how the foam pad lasts...

Mid-Length handguards. I think it makes a carbine look "right", plus it adds to the sight radius. the handguards, UTE upper (with it's intergral weaver rail) and the sweet 3.5# trigger are the features that drew me to this RRA
