I do not reload, but if I can find a good source of free or cheap scrap lead I would love to get lead pot and a shot-dripper and start reloading shotshells.
Does anyone here own any all brass shotgun shells from Rocky Mountain Cartridge Company ( http://rockymountaincartridge.com )? My understanding is that they are extremely durable, and can be loaded similar to plastic hull shells because they have the same internal diameter ( unlike the MUCH more affordable allbrass Magtech which I believe uses oversize components, and is supposed to be much thinner walled)
I would be thrilled if there really is such a thing as near "infinitely re-loadable brass" I know they are extremely expensive at 6.50 per hull for 12 gauge however I am a young guy and would probably buy quite a few of these if they will really last all my life. If they will truly last hundreds of reloadings then I don't care if they take many years to "pay off" .
Also should these preform the same in an autoloader as plastic hulled shells of similar performance?
Anyways, right now I only shoot 12 gauge but I have interest in 28 gauge, RMCC makes both so who would like to share their opinion on the durability of these all brass shells?
