Help i need to find scope rings for my Romanian training rifle if any one knows of a source for them i would appreciate it very much:)

Ugh, what aggrivation these can cause. Frankly it is really hit or miss with these things, as the rail on them doesn't seem to be consistant from rifle to rifle. You may get lucky and find some that will work with minimal shimming, or not. I tried several before giving up on mine....

Maybe somebody out there will have a suggestion for both of us! :)

Millett's small 3/8" .22 rings will fit the narrow euro-rail....they go small enough.

I've got the same rings on 2 of my Romos, they work great and they're excellent rings.

Hi, Millets rings didn't fit on mine ! Tried all kinds and finally gave up ! Had the rail D/T and attached a Ruger scope rail, added some ruger rings and topped it off with a BSA 6x24x40 with A/O . great pest and paper gun . And B4 I start getting flamed from some who don't like modifying surplus weapons , I bought this inexpensive .22lr to shoot not to display . Shoots fine too..............................WVleo

I found some "rings" that seem to work quite well. I put the word in quote marks because they really aren't 'rings' as we usually think of them. Each "ring" is made of two pieces of heavy alluminum bent somewhat into the shape of a "3". A screw through the center holds them together and also clamps them and the scope to the rifle.

I haven't been able to find any sort of marking on them, so I can't refer you to a particular manufacturer. I found them at a gunshow and bought them for $5. Like me and a lot of my stuff, they're butt-ugly but they work. I used them to mount a cheap Simmons rimfire scope and now I can shoot 4" groups at 100 yards all day.
