Yeah, I'm sitting here on my day off and watched his speech. Man, if that was a quitting speech, it was the most rousing such speech I've ever heard! To me it was as good a speech as I have heard since Ronald Reagan. This is coming from someone who is not all that fond of Romney.
I can't help but think he's setting up to start an independant or 3rd party campaign....That is why he "suspended" his campaign and didnot outright withdraw from the Presidential race......But that's just my thoughts. What do you all think?

I think choosing between McCain and Hillary is like choosing between lung cancer and brain cancer. But that's just me.

    Suspended------Good point!

Thinking ahead..... we could see a split from each party.
This is going to be an interesting year.

I'm hoping McCain picks Huck as his VP. They could really pick up a lot of votes that way. Let Clinton/Obama split the democrats and lose the election.

"Suspended campaign"=possible run in 2012. He's going home to lick his wounds, but he'll be back.

What? He was the most fiscal conservative of McCain and Huckabee. He's the most small government of those three.

    Hmm, perhaps not: http://soundpolitics.com/archives/010089.html

And why would Obama and Clinton split the democrats? Neither is going to run a third party campaign.

Anyone see/hear the speech that McCain just gave to CPAC?

It was a home-run and I don't even like the guy.

He touched on everything including not supporting bans on "so called Assault Weapons". He even made the air fingers while saying assault weapons.

Will not sign ANY bill with earmarks, will not support a government solution to health care, will cut business taxes(I think he said up to 25%) to bring jobs back from overseas, will support a line item veto.

Took his lumps over the immigration thing admirably.

If he does 1/2 what he said he will he will do pretty well.

If he keeps talking like he did he might get me off my butt on election day.
