Rossi 92 price check..?

    Might have a chance to buy a Rossi 92 in 44 mag. Supposed to be used but not much. Any ideas on a good opening offer..?

    I think I paid $425 for mine LNIB. It's stainless w/ octagon barrel.....

    I paid $300 for an as new, stainless trapper carbine in .375/.38
    The same guy had an unmarked, blued, octagon barrel rifle in .45 colt for $350.

    I paid $379 for a like new .357 trapper in stainless 2 months ago.

    He's sitting firm at $375... might have to go by and look it over.

    If it's in really good shape that shouldn't be a bad price. You should also lift up the rear sight a bit and see if it is drilled and tapped underneath. If so you know it is a newer model and you can get a mount for a ler scope or red dot in the future if you so choose. Also take a good look at the bore.

    I sold my Rossi .44 mags w/ 20" barrel and Skinner peep sight for $400 last year.

    The guy is off tomorrow so guess I'll swing by and take a look at it after work.
