My wife has one. It comes with two choke tubes, one for shot and the other for bullets. At 50 yards I can ding an 8 inch steel plate all day with .45 Colt loads. This is the gun we keep on her side of the bed, with .45 Colt loads of course. The long barrel gives around 1,000 feet per second with standard 250 grain factory hollow points. The bird shot option is always there in case the dogs corner a poisonus snake when I am not home.
