Ruger 10/22 50 round drum mags back in production soon?

    Those 50 round drum mags for the 10/22 were made by Mitchell, or MWG.

    I remembet hearing that Mitchells went out of business. But, one can hope.

    A local gun shop told me that they are supposed to ship in a few weeks. I hope it's true.

    Who cares. The Butler Creek Hotlips and Steel Lips magazines are more reliable and cheaper. I wouldn't mind a double-column Ram-Line style magazine with Steel feed lips. That I'd buy. I think the patent has run out also!

    I bought one of those a few years back. The winding mechanism broke the second time I wound it. Cheap plastic trash.
