flyerI: Yeah, that is the one I brought...I hope it does well. I think I overpayed though buying it local, but I did get it installed and boresighted..oh, well.

Gotta take one of the mags back cause it was the one causing feeding problems- jammed every other round :cuss:

Gonna try more ammo types.

Avenger;

I'd strongly suggest doing a lot of ammo testing. Consecutive S/N'd guns will like different ammo, .22's are notoriously picky. Try not only several different manufacturer's but many of the choices offered by that maker. For instance, Federal offers about 30 different .22 rimfire options. Some, such as shorts, CB caps, etc. are totally out of your ballpark, but that still leaves many to try just from Federal. As for all the rest, I wouldn't bother with the ultra-high dollar stuff, but anything under $20.00 a brick should be considered from just about any maker. I've had good luck with Winchester Powerpoints in several of my guns.

If you do this, you'll be surprised at the performance differences in your gun between the various kinds of .22 longrifle ammo available.

Scopes are a whole different subject, don't get me started.
