I want to change out the grip that came with it for an oversized rubber type grip. Any suggestions? Having a hard time learning what style grip it takes. i.e XR3 XR3 red ?????

The 50th Anniversary .44 and .357 both have an XR3-size grip frame. However, the location of the locating cross pin is different from the Old Model XR3 grip frame, and they have the internal lock mechanism, which will cause clearance problems.

You can modify Old Model XR3 grips to fit, or you can buy grips designed for the new grip frame.

Nicholst55 I dont want to seem dense but are the new grips simply referred to as "designed for the new grip frame"
