Ruger 77/22 Hornet...I LIKE IT!

    Pawn shop buy. 2nd trip to the range today. Tired some factory Hornady 35gr V-Max's @ 100 yds. Still stock trigger (for now) and 9x on the scope.

    # 3-shot goups were .7, .7, & .9 inches.
    6 shot group (last one shot) was .75"

    I'm pretty picky, but I just can't find anything to b*tch about...lol!

    That looks like the target model, isnt it?

    I have one of those in 22 mag and was very impressed by its accuracy. Lots of people have ragged on Ruger's accuracy, including myself, but my 77/22mag target will do one inch groups at 100 yds, and I am not that good of a rifle shot. I bet it could do better with the right person behind the trigger.

    Yep...Burris FullfieldII 3-9x, nice scope..think I need more magnification though.
