What is a reasonable price for a Ruger Alaskan in 454? I saw a bunch of 44 mag versions on gunbroker for around $800, but only one 454, which was $1,100. Is there really that much of a price differential, or is the 454 seller delusional? I was also surprised only to see one listed since that version is in the current Ruger catalog.

Those guns are always hard to find consistently. I won't see one for months, and then there will be 3 under the glass at the LGS.
that price is a tad high though. I would think you could find one NIB at a big chain for $950 or there abouts if you're patient. It's finding one that is the trick.
