I dont have one, but i shot one at the range once. a fellow just bought one and adked me if i wanted to give it a try. I said sure, its a fun little plinker but something abut it just wanst my thing. it could have been the type of red-dot he had on it... but something didnt feel right. but, I haven't written them off yet. I think the gun would be really fun with a scope. it just seems like it was set up more for a scope than a red dot style optic. I think its more of a precision .22 handgun than a red dot plinker. that's just my take....

My bride has one and she uses it each week at our local outdoor range.

Sporting a 2x pistol scope, she finds it to be great fun.

It's easy to shoot well and it lends itself to introducing newbies to the shooting game.

Gangbangers need not apply, but families out for an afternoon of plinking fun would enjoy this firearm.

I picked one up in the spring and have had it to the range a few times. It's a bit awkward to get used to it at first (even holding it properly seems to be odd, initially). But once you start to get comfortable with the thing, it's a hoot: It's pretty darm accurate, it's been perfectly reliable thus far with both bulk ammo (Federal from WallyWorld) and Mini-Mags, and you can occupy yourself for a long time without breaking the bank.

I wouldn't say that it has a lot of practical applications, and I don't think that I'll take it out on the prairie anytime soon for some varmit-plunking, but I'm happy to have it in the stable. Ruger makes fine firearms, and this one -- odd-looking though it may be -- is no exception.

You might want to run a search as well; the Charger has been oft-discussed on this board during the past several months.

I love the 10/22 platform but I dont think that this would be the right pistol for me. There is just something about it that I dont like

I bought the first one I saw. I'm a sucker for the unusual.
I've used scopes, Red Dots and even a laser on it
Fun gun.
More accurate than I would have thought.
