Ruger LC9s. Buy or pass

    I had the same experience... Below is an old post of mine. Putting aside that it died a horrible death out the box and till this day was the one and only pistol out of dozens that I ever had to send back, my impression was that it was snappy and not very comfortable to shoot. I've shot it side by side with my Shield and PPS M2, and you can feel and tell the difference in build quality, fit and finish, feel in the hand, and felt recoil. Ruger did get it back to me ASAP on their dime though... My wife didn't like the gun, and ended up with my Shield. I got stuck with the LC9s Pro that was brought for her. I never got around to selling it.

    Bought my old girlfriend one. Good gun with a very nice trigger. That being said, I wouldn't go out and buy one as I'd rather put the money towards something better.

    Well it’s a matter of taste and perceived value I suppose. I chose a Sig P938 Legion.

    But that’s only a better gun if the end user feels that way.

    There’s a whole lot of choices out there.
