I found a used lcr today for 299 and put it on layaway...my question is if this gun should replace my 442. I can get enough on trade to basically make it an even swap. This will be a summer time pocket gun...carried a lot but shot minimally. I just really like the ruger trigger.

I bought my wife a Ruger LCR new where she works it came to less than $400 with tax. It is a great gun, the wife has progressive AR in her wrists and is now shooting 125g +p loads with ease. I had a Colt Det sp that went away with wife #1. I really think that this is a far better gun, wife also.

I have both guns and could not give up either one. Keep the 442 and keep paying on the LCR so you have both guns. If you give up the 442 you are going to be sorry. If you let the LCR slip by you will kick yourself forever. Think about it, you know I'm right.

My wife and I each have both as well. Can't see preferring one over the other, they are both outstanding carry guns and a lot of fun to shoot.
