Hi all, I'm considering getting the above. Any owners out there that can give me some info on it. I'm shooting 22's a lot more lately especially with the 9mm shortage. Don't have a 22 revolver and thinking about adding one. It would be a strictly range/fun gun. Much appreciated on any info provided.

I handled a few and they seem to be solid revolvers. Like any rimfire they have heavier trigger pulls than a centerfire, but not too bad.

Are you looking at the 2" or 3" model?

When I was in the market for a .22 revolver I handled a few of the LCRx revolvers. I noticed the DA trigger pull seemed better on 2 of the 4 that I looked at. My recommendation would be to ask to handle a couple of them and pick the trigger pull you like. I have heard trigger pills vary on these.

I ended up buying an S&W model 63 but kind of wish I would have bought an LCRx. I had to send the S&W back to the factory as the barrel to cylinder gap was way off, .015” on the left and .005” on the right. While there getting “fixed” they bunged up the rear sight blade, which I changed out. I really hated the fiber optic front sight and changed that out.
I liked the white line front sight on the LCRx.

My wife has one, she lets me shoot it now and then. It's a lot of fun. Just checked the trigger pull; SA is a shade over 5#

I have the LCR in 22 LR, it is a handy little revolver. The Double action only trigger is a little stiff, but doable. The non adjustable sights index well enough with Remington thunderbolts. I think a 3" LCRx with the ability to shoot Single action and the better sights, would make a good 22 camp gun or a good plinker.

I own a 3" LCRx22WMR that is the same frame that you're looking at. A very solid shooting gun that is well made and fun to shoot. The 3' barrel and adjustable rear sights are a big plus on this gun. Allows you to dial in on your favorite ammo.

I had an LCRx in 22lr. I bought it online. The DA trigger pull was so bad that I traded it off before long.

My 2" CA Pathfinder has a significantly better trigger.

Have an LCRx in 22lr with the 3” barrel and really enjoy it. So much so that I bought the Speed Beez speed loader and loading block. A darn good plinking handgun !
