How do you like the NCStar? I'm debating between it and a sightmark for my new Mark III Target.

Don't scratch those nice new wood grips! Go get the Hogue with the thumb rest...It's great for everyday shooting. Put the wood grips on when you take your wife out somewhere fancy...

VERY Nice. I get looks from my buds with my red dot on my 5.5" Target model. but they change their view after they put a few rounds thru it.

Guntalk is a great resource for these pistols.

Mods you may want to consider include:
    Remove LCI
    Remove magazine safety
Replace hammer bushing with MkII bushing
Replace trigger and sear with VQ parts.

    Nice MK3...

Rimfire central is another get spot to look for mods. I did the hammer and bushing mods and now the mags drop free. I removed the springs and the tab for the LCI, but left the LCI in to keep stuff from going inside. I want to do the other mods, but the gun runs great like it is. I removed the wooden grips and got the Houge grips. Made a world of differentce, but does not look as nice. I put the Burris fastfire 2 on it as well. Nice and quick target aquire.

My photo doesn't show it very well, but I replaced the LCI with a well-fitted stainless steel filler piece. A guy named Bruce on Rimfire Central makes them...just look for the LCI Filler thread. I also removed the magazine safety and replaced it with a Clark bushing. That allows the mag ejections do work much better. The mag safety was really a bad idea. The pistol is a load of fun...very accurate...;)
