My ranch...

Great West Gunsmithing Package B - trigger job, Accraglass with atomized aluminum stock bedding, barrel cut to 16.5", crown and thread combo, gas port bushings, and a recoil buffer. John aka "Gundoc" also added a Smith muzzle brake.

How does the "scout" scope rail mount at the rear? looks like it mounts to the gas block on the front and possibly the stock, but I'm assuming it mounts to the barrel to keep it immobile. Also, is that a heavy barrel? Also also, I don't suppose you could take a pic of your sear so I could see what he modified ;).

Thanks, Tarvis.

No problem.

By the first three digits of the serial number, in the format "xxx-".

Thanks

"Hey Andy, tell me about your mini. That barrel looks slick, did you have it done, or did you buy it like that?"

Tarvis, I traded for the rifle several years ago. Previous owner shot competitively with it. That is a Clark Custom Barrel system and he had a trigger job done on it-- probably sometime in the late '90s.

I added the Bushnell Holo sight and Butler folding stock. I acquired a dozen 20 round LEO mags before the prices went crazy. The gun runs perfectly and shoots much better than my old eyes can see with a variety of milsurp ammo. It has dispatched its' fair share of coyotes, feral dogs, hogs and rattlers. We work on remote ranches all over Texas and the gun goes to work every day.

i hate the side folders

and i really like the top folding stock like on the spas-12

wow i saw someone posted right after i made a thread asking about it

I subscribed to this thread, thats why the reply was fast ;). If you're planning on having a non-ranch rifle mini and you're planning on not using any sights while its folded and youre going to make this folder yourself, sure I guess. What don't you like about side folders? The way they look, or thier functionality when folded? Must be the way they look, as a top folder would be worse.

Or maybe you're looking for something tacticool, in that case I'd probably build one.
