Any idea what I should ask for this gun? It is in perfect condition, not NIB but it has less than 100 rounds fired and has the hard case + paperwork + useless lock + magazine loader. It has 2 10rd magazines.

I see some completed auctions on GB for $500 (which seems really high to me anyway) but they did not sell.. so less than that but how much less?

Man I'd love one of those. Can't swing it right now though. However, were I in possession of $400, I'd probably part with it for a P93DC. Is the surface of the plastic smooth or the pebbled texture?

I can't really tell you. I know most of the used alloy frame P-series guns I've seen in the classifieds at rugerforum.com go for around $300. I know a lot of folks really like the P93 though because it is the smallest of the alloy framed ones & they don't make the Decock only guns anymore which could help you too with the right buyer. If you price it high you can always come down though.

I'd say put it up for $350 to $400 on the ruger forum. You can always go down if you start at $400. Mark.

Thanks, I'm not entirely sure I'm going to sell it. I inherited it (but it is not like it is an heirloom piece or something). I was the last one to fire it back in the early 90s and it sat in its hard case in my Dad's sock drawer since. I'm not sure I like the way it feels in my hand and it would be a new caliber to stock up on.

I'm going to put a box of ammo through it and see what I think once it warms up some.

If you think you might want to keep it. You might check out the Hogue finger groove grips. They make my P944 more manageable. I think I gave around $20 for them from MidwayUSA.

Oh man I was thinking of the 97DC...I commented on the wrong gun:what:. The thing of it is, and I like Ruger, is that new ones are inexpensive enough to kind of kill the used market. The DC thing is nice...I don't think they offer that right now and that's my favorite format...thus my comment.

I'd keep it. Other than Sig at almost thrice the price, it's hard to find nice SA/DA decocker only guns. Shame. I think FN has one but you so seldom see them...
