Will do. Don't know why they didn't roll them out with some bit of fanfare. I got it from a dealer in Chandler, so maybe he knows someone at Ruger who got him first dibs.

I've been looking around for the perfect kit gun for a while, and a little birdie (with a long gray braided beard) told me to wait a few more weeks.

Worth waiting for.
I have a Tanker chest rig from El Paso Saddlery for mine, it'll be riding high on ATV excursions. :)

Now the announcement's finally out-
The rear sight was originally a V notch, as shown in the G&A article, production versions use a square notch.

Quality on mine is great. DA trigger's heavy, but I'd suggest you be wary of messing with springs, the SP can be very sensitive to "adjustments". You may easily end up with light strikes & misfires. Mine won't be fired much DA anyway, not much of an issue with me.

MIM trigger may bother some, but no sharp edges on its rear, at least.
Stock grips are not bad at all, I've got Hogues on mine, a near perfectly balanced package in my hand with that short-lugged barrel.

I think a lotta people are going to like this one. :)

There wasn't when I got mine a few weeks back, I'll need to check & see what may be available now.
