Just heard on the net that RUGER will give you a price break on replacement firearms that were lost in a fire.
Anyone hear of this? Know who to contact?
I tried their website,but it has no contact info.

I call shenanigans; sounds like one 'o them there Intraweb rumours... seriously how would this work? Would you have to send them the charred remains of the firearm that needed to be replaced?

Maybe I'm just cynical...

I don't know about a discount, but I bet if you could find a molten pile of their steel and send it to them they'd probably replace it with a new gun for a nominal fee.

Their customer service on semiauto handguns is reportedly outstanding. I haven't needed it with my two. Not a single malf in almost 1,000 rds through each.
