I was excited several weeks ago when I found a new GP-100 Wiley Clapp Edition for sale from Impact Guns, an online firearms dealer in Utah. That excitement faded quickly when I received the revolver from my local FFL dealer. I decided to accept it, despite a long list of cosmetic flaws and some sloppy packaging by Impact Guns. Without firing a round through it, I contacted Ruger's customer service, and they responded with their typical "extra mile" approach. I sent the GP-100 off to their factory, and got it back yesterday, just 2 weeks later. It is perfect now. They fixed every flaw. Impact Guns never bothered to respond to me, but Ruger went beyond mere good service, and demonstrated once again why no other firearms company treats their customers as well. Bottom line...buy Ruger, but NOT from Impact Guns!

    Used GP-100...

:)Here's my story to add on to Ruger's +1 CS.

Last November I bought a used 6" Blue GP-100 from a member of my local Gun Forum. This GP was like a "Safe Queen" all over+with the box+all the paper work/fired case, ect.

When I made the internet deal with this member, I did not know that the GP had an EXCESSIVE turn ring on the cyl. When I did the FTF with the owner, he adjusted the price accordingly.

I called Ruger in mid December, and they ask if I would call back after the first of the year, due to them trying to get caught up on all of the service work that they already had.

I called back the second week of January and they e-mailed me a UPS shipping label, and off it went. The Big Brown Truck dropped it off the last week of January+now this GP-100 IS just like new!!;)

The "Kicker" of it is-this was all for NO CHARGE, and the date on the fired case envolope is Nov. 2002!! This gun is ELEVEN YEARS OLD..

    Thanks again-Ruger Rocks...Bill.

I got a Single Six Hunter in December and it was missing the rear sight pin. Just the tiny pin that holds it down. I contacted them about it and they sent me two pins and replacement sights. Pretty awesome!

Im hoping I will have one to share in a few weeks. 6" GP100 is at the factory now for a timing issue.
