:what: I recently picked up an IJ-70 for $200.00 out the door? I think that was a good price. When did they stop importing these? Are they the same as Russian military except for the rear sights? Any benefit to converting to .380 and how much are the barrels and conversion kits? I have a nice EG that i plan to leave in 9/mm Makarov.

Sounds like you need http://www.makarov.com/ :D

    I think I have a IJ-70 but mine is a 12 shot .380. Got it long ago for $100.

I got a LNIB Baikal IZH-70 Mak in .380 that came with 3 mags about 2 years ago for $300. Sounds like you (both) paid a real decent price.

I got mine probably 12 years ago from a guy walking around a gun show. Mags for those are about impossible to find!

You know, don't you, that 8 round single stack magazines will work.

I'd much rather have 12-rounders! Man that was so long ago in CA they were legal... :)
