So, who knows what about this gun? Anyone here own, and or shoot one? What do you consider is a good price for one that is like new in the original box?

I did check Gunbroker and found only one current 2206 for sale and several ended auctions. From that I am going to guess between $300-$400 is a reasonable price...anyone concur or differ?

I have also found out that the 2206 is simply an all stainless version of the 622. So far all I have read about this gun, points to the good. But I would appreciate any input from fellow THR members with actual experience with these gems over pretty much anything else I read elsewhere on the 'net.

Thanks,

Ok, just stopped at the local shop and the gentleman that runs the place is going to hold it for me. It is the 2206 with adjustable rear sights and such. It has the factory plastic grips but that will change soon. It is in great, like new shape and the trigger isn't all that bad really. Anyhow, have to take care of a few debts before I can pick it up, but as mentioned he will hold it for me and I cannot wait until I get to take it out and run a brick or two through it. Will of course get picks when I do because I know how much we like pics. :)

Good for you. You will really like it.

I didn't get into detail in my first post but my first handgun was the target grade 422, this was the blued predecessor before the stainless 2206 had come out. They had just come out with them at my local gunshop when I was 18 and my Dad signed the paperwork for me. Mine is serial number 20 and it is sitting in my safe. Once in a while I take it out for my boys to shoot.

They came out with the 2206 about five years later and then ran a limited number of the 2206TGT. I missed out on them at first but found one in a gunshop and brought it home.

I just picked up a 2206TGT what makes the TGT any different from just a 2206 ?? and whats the TGT worth
