S&W 36-1 holster

Does anyone out there know of a holster for a S&W 36-1? Ican't seem time to find anything. Thanks in advance.

I have a Serpa, a Galco, and a Desantis for my 36/Chief's Special. All bought off the shelf.

Every holster maker in the world makes holster that fit J-Frame S&W's of any model number.

But especially Model 36 Chiefs Specials.

If they don't make a holster for that gun?

They already went out of business due to no sales.

Not so fast, fellas, the 36-1 is a 3" j frame. Holsters for 1 7/8s are everywhere, but a fitted one for the longer fixed sight guns are a whole lot less common. I made my own IWB for mine (mostly because I wanted to), but getting one off the rack without going custom isn't as simple as clicking on cheaper than dirt.

If you want to pay for Kramer or sparks or anyone else at that level, then no sweat. Elmer McEvoy at the leather arsenal will make a great one, FWIW.

Galco Holsters has a full page of holsters suitable for a 3" Chief's Special if that's what the M36-1 is. Like said above, Don Hume has suitable holsters too. This Page has holsters from DeSantis that will fit a 3" S&W J Frame. I'm sure Bianchi has holsters that will fit a 3" J frame too and does almost every holster maker everywhere.

Tom Allen, designer/maker of the "Gun Glove," just made me a very nice leather slim profile pancake holster for my Model 36-1. Excellent holster, rides high and out of the way, conceals easy, top shelf quality.
