S&W 360 with 3 inch barrel?

I remember seeing one in a case at a local gun shop. Anyone have one?
I am intrigued by a .357 with 3 inch barrel to get better performance. And the lightweight.

The 360 Kit Gun was made for a couple of years. It came with a HiViz front sight and a V notch rear sight, a combination I don’t care for. I replaced the sights with a square, serrated ramp and a square notch rear. I also replaced the grips with Pachmayr Gripper grips. In that configuration, mine weighs 15.8 oz. With mild loads mine is very accurate, but as loads approach full .357 capability, the gun gets pretty nasty while controllability is low. The Pachmayr grips help me a lot. With the original grips, it was uncontrollable with full power loads. I like having the gun strength for .357, but I only load it with .38 +P equivalent loads. With those, it isn’t bad to shoot and is quite accurate. I consider it a carry much, shoot little gun. When I really want to shoot .357 loads, I use a steel frame gun, preferably an N frame like my 627PC.

I am not familiar with an M&P 3" 360. How different is it from the 360 Kit Gun?

ClemY, two nice looking kit guns. Your sight mods look like they would be huge improvements over the stock OEM sights. Never cared for S&W's goofy hi-vis front and v-knotch rear.
