    Hey All,
not much to report at this point....new 442-1 (new to me)
looks to be in immaculate shape, and it will be getting dirty this morning, as I plan on a range visit!!
Going to be attending a snub fighting workshop next weekend, with this and its big brother 66 snub.....

Very nice, that could be my 442 except I put on a desantes? Clip grip on mine I love the light weight snubbys, I have a ruger sp101 357mag but rarely carry it anymore the 442/642s just slip in and disappear in a pocket.

    Your going to love it

I have a nickeled one for a 'few' decades and its on me now --- along with its brother a 360 [ Scandi .357 ] both loaded with non + P GDHP's.

Both shoot sweet and the 442 is very comfortable to do drills with.

Nice find ,look forward to a report on it and the course.

I do a qual that is about the same as the full service one,I have no problem making full score with it.

    Range visit was a success!
I had forgotten how long and tough the trigger pull was on these little dudes!
If I relaxed and kept it basic, I was very accurate.
When I tried to go all spray and pray.....my prayers didn't work!

Just kidding on the spray and pray thing! ;)

simple, effective, compact, lightweight: nice deep carry or backup gun. NO LOCK is a plus....

Best of all, the j-frame has been tested with around 70 or 80 rounds through it, cleaned thoroughly, and is ready for the snub workshop next weekend!

I'm a huge fan of the S&W M442 and I also like Badger Custom Rosewood Boot Grips too.

My wife has the ladysmith 442. She loves it. I bought her a 642 before the 442, but she couldn't pull the trigger. I don't think there is any difference in the two besides finish, but the 642 had a pull of at least 20 pounds.
