S&W 460 Mag grip question

I will be picking up a S&W 460 mag, and was wondering if these guns round butt or square butt . I have a set of custom K frame grips in round butt, and I believe someone had said they would fit. Can't seem to get an answer on the S&W forum.

I dunno, but I do know that the .460 stock grip fits my round butt N-Frames and L-frames.

no, they will not fit. They will go on and attach just fine. But the N frame has a bigger hump on the back of the frame (behind the hammer). So grips designed for K frame will fit poorly in this area if put on an N frame. They will work, they just will look terrible.

The S&W 460's grip frame is the same as the round butt K/L grip frame. If you check the S&W WEB site you will see the "tamer" grips that are listed for the 460 and 500 also list all the K and L frame revolvers in the application list.
