Hi,

Did SW ever make a 586 L comp with a 6rd cylinder? I found one for sale. I think. If so, is it a 6rdr more in demand and worth more than a 7rdr.? Thanks

I know my 586-5 L Comp is a 7-shot.

I saw a thread here last year about an L Comp with an unfluted cylinder that was a 6 shot, but it did not have a lock. Only 50 of those made.

The original lock free 7 shots are the ones most in demand. They bring big money on Gunbroker. The IL L Comps - not so much. :) TJ

I am pretty sure they did back a few years. These guns are usually made in small lots for distrubutors like Camfour, and Lew Horton. There is also an f-comp six shot verson out there.
