S&W M&P-15 bolt & firing pin

Greetings all,

I recently purchased a Smith & Wesson M&P-15 MOE in FDE. I'm interested in picking up a spare bolt and firing pin as spares. Any suggestions as to which ones? There are a million choices out there. Just curious if anyone here has an M&P that they have picked up spares for and which ones you purchased.

Bravo Company (aka BCM) makes very good parts at very reasonable prices. They are popular, though, so you may have to keep trying back to catch them in stock.

x2 for BCM....I picked up my spare from them.

The manuals I have call for checking headspace after changing bolts.

While you're ordering I would get a spare firing pin retaining pin, and a cam pin too. They are small and easy to lose and they do break.

If you call up S&W they will sell you all the parts you need. Because I live in Springfield, MA they normally ship me little parts here and there for no cost at all.

Any will work, just get a MP, HPT or both stamped.

Get the BCM heavy bolt and carrier combo you will be glad you did. Keep the S&W one for the spare.
