Just picked up this Monday. Can't wait for the rain to stop so I can get some range time. :D

Like a Greek statue, when the proportions are right the result can be positively stunning.

One of the "must haves"

I know 'cause I sold my only one. Miss the bejeepers outa it. At least I kept the 19.

Yours looks like a damn fine shooter, have fun... after the rain.

Model K

I too have a Model 15-4 but mine is in polished nickle and 1 &7/8 barrel. I put new springs and very carefully honed all trigger and hammer parts with india stone. Just a marvelous piece. Please enjoy. Pinned barreled S&W's seem to be better made than the new stuff. Every K frame that I see I try to buy. You can never have enough. Enjoy, you look like you got a nice one. Congrats!!

My favorite all around holster gun is my M15-4. So many of these gems, blued, nickle and stainless steel have passed through my hands and I loved every one of them. It's just possibly among the best revolvers S&W ever made.

I have one in the safe just like yours.... sitting next to the #14 and #17 I picked up about 3 months ago. They all shoot better than I can get them to do. Enjoy !
