I have been searching on the web for a S&W 25 with the 6 1/2 inch Bbl len. to replace the gun I sold about 25 years ago. I haven't looked hard just now and then for the last 6 months or so. I have found one I hope - I would like to know what do y'all think a 1955 Target Model 25 as described
would be worth with it in the original S & W blue paper carton box and ad'd as NIB ??? I have an idea but would like to hear a few other opinions.

FYI - this purchase would not be to buy something to shoot but just to
have and preserve.... I can buy a Lew HOrton 3 inch or TR mod 22 for that ....

...and ask the same question. You'll not only get precise, current market prices, but probably will have a couple Smith fans offer to sell you a model 25.
