Does anyone have any idea of how many of these will be produced?
Just wondering if I should get one now while the getting is good.

Smith just released a new version WITHOUT the gold seal. It still comes with the full presentation case, but has a rollstamp instead of the 24k. Might be a better deal if you're looking for a shooter.

Yeah, if they made more than one with all the gold on it, it was way too many. I might just pick one up now that the gold's gone, though. I already have one from the good old days, but a new one might be nice too.

Dry fire one of them side by side with an older model. That should end any discussion of purchasing of a new S&W revo. Plenty of older better made guns out there.
