S&W Model 52 & reloading with V.V. N310

Has any one else besides me ever reloaded the .38 spec. wad cutter with N310 for Bullseye Target Shooting. I was told to use it the same way as Bullseye Powder. So I've been loading 2.7 gr. and it seems to work very well.

I switched from Bullseye to using 2.5gr of Clays powder. The shops around me don't have VV powders.

I always have used 2.8 gr of Bullseye. I'd like to try Titegroup but I have a couple of pounds of Bullseye and at 2.8 grains a shot...I will run out about..never.

I'm interested in trying Berry HBWC bullets...anyone try those in a 52-2?

I have had excellent results with 700X, Clays and N310 in .38 target loads, including both the Ranier and the Berrys 148 Gr DEWC. I have not tried the Berrys 148 Gr HBWC yet. It's on the "to do" list.
