S&W No-Lock Classics

I do like S&W revolvers, but I don't recognize the current products as Smith & Wesson. I have one, ONE revolver made without a pinned barrel. It is a very early model 581 .357 Magnum.

Most of the S&W revolvers I have (all except the 'L' frame) are from prior to 1982 or so. Yes, the company will no doubt fold, but I'll probably be dead before then.

After all the hit and miss with new revolvers these days, I am talking S&W and Ruger, I have decided to focus on autoloaders; specifically, the Sig Sauer P series classics. I bought a P229 M11A1 and my dealer has a line on a P226 Mk25 FDE and I should know tomorrow if that will be my next “new” purchase.
I am pretty much sick of disappointments from gun companies.
I love to buy American but if the big boys want to keep their heads stuffed firmly up their corporate assets they do not need my money.
