s&W revolver barrel replacement question

Hi everyone. Is anyone familiar with getting their magnum revolver barrels replaced due to forcing cone erosion? How bad does the erosion need to be in order for S&W to be willing to replace the barrel? My model 500 has some minor forcing cone erosion but it seems like it's still within specs, will the factory replace the barrel if I send the gun in? Thanks.

If they decide its erroded badly enough, they'll replace it.
As far as I know, they'll replace it free under their warranty.
