I'm trying to get more information and a possibly a value on a SW Russian. The firearm is in above average condition, 7 inch barrel, barrel is stamped in english, pinned front site, appears to have the <XX> mark on the butt, but has been machined over it. The firearm looks like it has a "stock attachment" machined into the grip in 3 places.

Could anyone here point me to someone, or someplace that might have further info on this firearm.

Authentic guns that were factory cut for a shoulder stock can mean a substantial increase in value, depending on particular model, even without the stock.

I'd say get in touch with Jim Supica at Oldtownsta@aol.com

    Hmmm...
Not adding up to be a M3 to me.
Barrel length and pinned sight make me think it is a M2.
The stock cuts more likely to be M2 also.
