Back in July,
I won the Grand Prize in a TAC47's '4th of July Contest'
http://www.tac47industries.com/
The Grand Prize, a complete conversion or remake of a Saiga 12 shotgun.

My S12 was already converted, done by me and done on a budget, e.g. I didn't spend the $ to get the receiver TIGed and professionally refinished, amongst other things.
I sent it off mid-July, and it is finally back in my hands.

TAC47 ended up going well beyond their initial prize outline.
Really incredible generosity in outfitting the gun with the sights, folder, tube and auto-plug, all gratis.

My dilemma now is... Comp/Brake or Choke?

Beautiful shotgun! How's she shoot?

And that is awesome of TAC47!
The latter is an understatement... They freaking Rock!

Well, before she ran danged near flawlessly.
Some random problems with the real weak low recoil bulk, e.g. Winchester Universal.
TAC47 did all their usual reliability work, including drilling a fourth gas port, and supposedly she will run even the Winchester Universal.
Sick......absolutely sick.
Indeed

What does that weigh with a fully loaded drum?
That is a good question, lemme break out my scale and find out.

Weighed on my Rapala Digital 50# fishing scale.

Empty, no mag: 9lb 3oz
MD20, loaded with Winchester Military, 00, 9 pellet: 13lb 3oz
SGM 10rd, Winchester Military, 00, 9 pellet: 11lb
Factory 5rd, Fiocchi, #4 buck, 24pellet: 10lb 4oz

And lets look at its length too.
Length
Stock collapsed: 38"
Stock Extended: 41.25"
Stock Folded: 26 3/8"
