    Clockwise.
    Her Cricket 22
    Her HRR
    Wrangler
    My BH HRR
    Phoenix 22
    Uberti El Patron 45
    Uberti El Patron 357
    Uberti Birdshead 45
    TacSol upper on SOG lower.

She shot them all. She really liked the 357 shooting 38s.
Oh, she is 9 years old.

Definitely starting her out right! Besides the Cricket which one of the handguns did she like the best? My kids always liked the semi-autos, mainly because they loved to blast away with them while I loaded the magazines for them!

    Fun times! :D

I used to love taking my daughter shooting. She had a lot of fun. She’s grown now and I have taken my grandson shooting but since he has become a teenager he has lost interest in guns and shooting. Not sure why, he’s into music (he’s a percussionist in the high school band) and girls. That’s okay though. He’s enjoying life. That’s what kids should do. ;)

It sounds like you had a great day with your grand daughter.

Both my daughters grew up shooting.

My grandson is a bit young yet just passing 4 months old, but his dad, my son in law, is interested in shooting. They live in the UK so coming to visit in the USA, they will have some fun activities to look forward to.

Her favorite handgun is her HRR. Runner up went back and forth between the Phoenix and 357 El Patron.
Yes I'm a proud Grandpa.:) She shoots pretty much any gun I've offered. Last summer at 8 y.o. she was ringing steel at 100 yds with my Howa 223 off the bipod.

You are a good grandpa. All of my grandkids are 30 years old or older so I'm into their kids now. The oldest, a girl, recently made loud noises about wanting my old Colt M4-22 so it went home with her. The next is still Crickett sized and it went home with her. Can't have a jealous sister. The only boy in the bunch is only three years old so it will be awhile before he gets to claim any of grandpa's guns.

You know it. My grandson has already claimed my stainless 1911. Its a 45 ACP and he is about 70 pounds dripping wet so it rocks him pretty good but he loves to shoot it. He is also 9 y.o.
They are both excellent shots. I love shooting with them.

The fact that a 9 y.o. can handle .38 Special loads is very good. Congratulations on your efforts.

She also handled the 45 Colts. Just didn't like the recoil. The 38s in that 5.5 inch Uberti are truly easy shooting loads, especially after shooting the 45s.
The girl loves to shoot so I'm sure that helps too. She is doing it by choice, not by force or because she feels obligated for my sake.
Hell she asked me if we could shoot.
