    Neat, but that's a Sterling, not a STEN. ;)

Neat now that he doesn't get to play with it anymore.

Also, it probably should have been silver-plated. ;)

    Lipstick on a ....
Or, as one military mind once said, "Well, it's pretty, but is it war?" Sten or Sterling, should be parkerized flat black to avoid shine, to make sure that British Commando makes it back across the Channel. :)

Kind of defeats the purpose of a cheap mass-produced SMG. Why don't the Saddams of the world gold-plate more expensive firearms? It's always pedestrian AKs and such.

Do I need one? No. Do I want one? Oh yeah!

because, you see them walking around with gold neckless? No. They are to poor for that there goverment uses the gold for making gold things, like gold guns, gold toilets. Do you see us with these items? no we have neckless and other things in gold

I have seen some "neckless" people, but think that you mean to refer to "necklaces"? ;)

Nice Sterling. Wish that I had even the standard version. I always felt that they were one of the classiest SMG's.

    Sterling Silver I would guess.

I'm usually pretty good at deciphering interweb ramblings, but I'm not sure where you were going with this one.

The gold AK is what I would have if I was a warlord in some country,

I would pack that sterling if I was a pimp though.

And then neglected for a couple years to get that nice "junkyard car parts" funk on the outside to give it that real nice, 3rd World, Sterling SMG feel.

(No insult to any former British troops who treated their weapons better than that . . .)
