I've bought a Ruger Ranch rifle a few months ago in .223, and I still have a couple of hundred rounds still sitting around(After I sold it).I was thinking of buying this rifle even though I have no reason(Saiga 223).I only bought this rifle cause the ammo was less expensive than the 30-06.The ranch rifle I bought was $70.00 more ThAN THE REMINGTON 700 SS.I'm still kicking myself in the ass cause of this purchase. But I have a LOT OF .223 rounds that are collecting dust on the self. What is the accuracy of the .223 saiga.More than the Mini 14 Ranch?

I haven't owned a mini-14 for over 20 years...the newer ones might shoot a little more consistently than mine did--terrible accuracy when the barrel heated up, I mean 8-10 inch groups at 100 yards.

The Saiga on the other hand will group consistently 2-3 inches depending on ammo and will function fine with cheaper Wolf steel case .223...a big plus.

Also HIGH CAP mags are available...and I heard Surefire will be making 5, 15, 20, and 30 round polymer mags soon...

agreed, I bought a saiga about 3 years ago, very very accurate, sold it, then about 1 year ago , bought another again. Still very accurate, so the consistency in their process is there.
