Saiga Gas Piston

    Should the gas piston on a Saiga 7.62 be lubed, or not? This thing seems to be clogging up pretty quickly.

    Keep it dry, it will gum up less

    Thanks, that's kinda what I was thinking, just wanted to know what someone else thought.

    What Wildalsaka says. I don't think there is an auto/semi-auto that calls for piston lube. The idea is to keep any place that is going to fill with smoke and carbon free of any sticky substances.
