Saiga Paint Job

Well like most Saiga owners I've been tinkering and modding the gun since the day I got it. Just finished painting the furniture with Coyote Aluma-Hyde II. Yeah I know it's not a complex paint job, just a simple one but I think it came out real nice. I like to keep the AK as simple as possible.

Well, here she is, in a family photo, tell me what you think:

Heck, looks pretty good IMO. I agree with you on the KISS concept concerning AKs.
 
I've got the same 10/22 stock. It actually fits me quite well, which is why I bought it. Of course everyone jumped on me for making it look "tacticool". So I'm glad I'm not the only one with it.
 
It's a .223. I plan on doing a 7.62 with deep red wood furniture and grey parkerized Aluma-Hyde II finish in the wintertime.
 
I'm torn on the 7.62 though, might make it a regular "AK" look, or go with a 20" version and make it look like an RPK.
