Saiga Paint Job

Well like most Saiga owners I've been tinkering and modding the gun since the day I got it. Just finished painting the furniture with Coyote Aluma-Hyde II. Yeah I know it's not a complex paint job, just a simple one but I think it came out real nice. I like to keep the AK as simple as possible.

Well, here she is, in a family photo, tell me what you think:

I've got the same 10/22 stock. It actually fits me quite well, which is why I bought it. Of course everyone jumped on me for making it look "tacticool". So I'm glad I'm not the only one with it.

Excellent job. Yeah I've got that stock for my 10 22 and it balances it really well.

Yes, I love that stock, it was dirt cheap too. Gun handles great with it.

I do like the Saiga paint job though, definitely a unique-looking Saiga. That the 7.62?

It's a .223. I plan on doing a 7.62 with deep red wood furniture and grey parkerized Aluma-Hyde II finish in the wintertime.

I'm torn on the 7.62 though, might make it a regular "AK" look, or go with a 20" version and make it look like an RPK.
