Nice looking rifles... why the adjustable gas system? AK's aren't known for needing it.

I usually prefer brunettes, but that blonde is just beautiful.

Gunkoted Romanians huh? Did you send kits out to be built? They are both drool-worthy.

Very strange that you got these as gifts and were not told what they are.

The upper is not romanian, but hungarian... At least the wood is. Thats a 1000 dollar gun, not a 400 dollar romanian.

The lower underfolder is Yugoslavian M95 not Romanian. Thats a very rare and valuable gun by the way. Its one of the few chrome lined Yugoslavian guns. I'm having one built by Ken Kubin of Global Military Gunsmithing. The kits alone cost over 400 dollars.

    I envy you.

Thanks guys..:) I am very happy..:) I got both for $1500, they are new unfired(maybe 10 rounds for testing,lol)..:)

The wood I think may be borrowed from other rifles, as they were built to be nice more than to be technically right..:)

I haven't messed with the Gas system adjustments yet, but it is there for weak ammo...but I do think it may not be needed..:)

    Merry Christmas to everyone..:)

The first one may be romanian with hungarian wood... but the 2nd one is a Yugoslavian M95 without question. The bulged receiver, the flashider, the more vertically orientated steel .223 mag... Yep. You did ok.
