savage 110 price check

Hi,

I didn't used to like these posts but now I'm in the same situation and you guys are the best firearms resource I know.

My local Gander Mountain back in MI has several used Savage 110's in 30-06 for $350 a piece. One has a Simmons 3X9 scope on it, also $350. I checked on Gun Broker and the going price was hard to figure out because the guns had all just been put up and selling for $150 or whatever.

Is this a good price?

Go to the auction sites and searched Completed auctions, to see what they are actually selling for.

on another note - I've had a 110 for many years and it was driving nails from day one. It just got better with time, and with my familiarity with it, and with new better optics and some modest modifications to the trigger its even deadlier now. Still not as much fun as my 14 or FAL - but its a hoot for a bolt gun. Good luck

Do these have the accu trigger? Which stock? I'd say it sounds a little high. Walmart sells a package deal for right around $400. It's a Savage Model 10 with a synthetic stock. This one does have the accu trigger and also comes with a Simmons scope. I think it also comes with a sling but don't quote me on that. It's also brand new. So I'd say $350 for a used one isn't a very good price. If it doesn't have the accu trigger, then I really think it's too high.

used savages go for $250-300 around here in good-to-excellent condition. a simmons scope adds nothing to the value. if the gun has been rode pretty hard, they'll go down to $125 or so.
