Just got a Bell & Carlson Dura-Max stock for the new .308. Working on upgrading the scope from the Leupold Varix II.

Getting some new bullets from Midway to try different loads. Fun

How do you like the B&C stock?I still have the cheesy factory stock on mine, but need to upgrade.Mine is wearing a Leupold VariX II and will put them in one hole at 100 yards.Don't know how to upgrade from that.

Haven't shot this one yet. I have the same stock, different color, on the .223 10FP and like it a lot.

Your eyes might be better than mine. I love this scope for hunting, and have hunted it on a number of rifles. At my age the 14-20x start making some sense for precision shooting.

Ten year old rifle, stone stock can chase soda cans around at 300 yards.

That's the fist person I've ever heard question the accepted opinion that those stocks are crap. I'll have to save up and find out for myself huh?

These are small air rifle targets at 100 yards with cold shots

min five minuts between rounds. Walk away then come back and build your position again and again. Works the same at 300 yards too.

    Nice gun.

I have a Savage .30-06 that I bought as a package (with scope). Its very accurate, considering the scope I'm dealing with.

Did the action drop right on in, or did you have to modify it some? Im really considering that stock myself for my 10FP.

There was a very small amount of "fuzz" that I filed off with a fine flat file. Dropped right in.

I've got 2 Savages. One is pretty much stock and the other is all out custom including stock, barrel, etc (it's awaiting better glass). The custom is chambered in .270, and the stocker is a 10fp in .223.

Both are awesome rifles and will pop the center out of a bulls @ 100 yds.
