Sinclair International F-class Bi-pod. One of the last that were done in silver, the only reason it caught my attention. It isn't really as mobile as some of the other folders, but it tracks nicely and is easy to get on the rifle. I would like to try one with the quick elevation adjustment, but I can manipulate the side levers pretty easily. More than one bag helps too.

I honestly thought that was something you made. I opened the link and got a severe case of sticker shock lol.

I am proud to see an effort toward ownership such that @Franky50 has put forth. Many would have been discouraged by such savage circumstance.
Unthwarted, he assailed his problem like a savage, using all skill and knowledge posessed to him. Strong from years of experience in the handloading "wilds", he adapted and over came what some would call a flaw. Pressing forward with unyielding prowess toward his goal.

Savage is glad to have you. I have no doubt they would have tried to see you happy right out of the box. But that is in the past now.

How about some pictures of your rig?
Well, I have to say that put the way you did it sounds nicer than it seemed to me. In any case, weighting the pros and cons resulted that bringing the rifle back to the gun shop -> distributor -> importer -> Police arms office -> manufacturer and back to me it would prevent me from competing that year. OTOH, almost no one competes here with commercial ammunition, so the shortest way seemed to be to adapt the .308W to my Savage. Yes! it was a sort of wild cat ammunition!

The rifle does fine. It makes groups well under 1/2 MOA and, as I already explained, the OAL has been gradually approaching the standard so I expect it to be fully .308 compliant soon. People and rifles may have difficult beginnings but this story will have a happy ending.

I will do my best to upload some pictures of it ASAP.

Save for a few missing embellishments, it was as if they read my mind. This one is also very good, very stable, but lacks a certain je no sais quoi. Luckily, it held it's value well too!

Hopefully you can get many more rounds out of it than normal and all your winds will be ninety degrees!

Do like my "Arthur Savage" Model 110 in .243, as well as my Model 99 in .300 "Savage" that I just recently acquired, both are very accurate, and extremely dependable. Never had a problem with either, the customer service, well I never had to bother with that. In fact I've got a Savage in the .22WMR bolt action, that I did a trigger job, and had it placed in a Boyd's stock, fact of the matter is I've been completely satisfied with the product ever since I was into the firearm aspect.
